These are so simple and so tasty! My kids devour them. Whole wheat, no fat, no sugar, no salt, pure and simply yummy!
1 C Wheat (whole hard wheat)
1 C Milk
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 C buttermilk (1/2 C milk 1 tsp vinegar)
Put all ingredients in blender and blend on high and for 2 minutes. IF you do not have a "great" blender you will have to grind your wheat before putting the ingredients in blender. The batter will be thin but they puff up wonderfully. With these little yumminessess I never feel guilty smothering them with my Buttercream Syrup.
